Step 1. Registering the death
If the death has reported to a coroner you will have to wait until the coroner has given permission to register the death. Choose a funeral director who is a member of either the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) or The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF). These professional organisations follow codes of practice that members adhere to. L. Hawkins & Sons Ltd are members of both NAFD and SAIF, with experience in arranging religious and non-religious funerals in Ashtead and the wider Surrey area.
