Established on our present site in 1932, the Hawkins Family have been serving the local communities since the 1880s, specialising in all forms of stone masonry, expanding in the 1930s to become a dedicated provider of high quality funerals.

Our premises have recently been rebuilt to provide purpose built facilities for clients in our care including air conditioned Chapels of Rest

Through the years, we have stayed true to our tradition of providing the local community with a caring, sympathetic and professional service during their time of bereavement. We have found that it is our commitment to providing a meaningful and personal approach to funeral directing that is most appreciated by families and individuals during their time of need.

Our experienced, friendly staff, who all live in the local communities, are here to offer help, advice and guidance throughout all aspects of the funeral process – from floral tributes to monumental requirements and press notices among other details.

We are available 24 hours a day should you require any information or assistance, and are always happy to visit clients in their own home.

We understand that different families have different needs and requirements, which is why we take particular pride in being able to meet these requirements with our flexible funeral arrangements and range of pre-paid plans. We will endeavour to discuss your requirements in utmost detail in order to provide you with a comprehensive, tailor-made plan.
